Beach Themed Weddings – add shells in your flower girl dresses!

THIS CUSTOMER CHOSE TO BASE HER FLOWER GIRL DRESSES ON STYLE 333 WANTING SEA SHELLS IN THE SKIRT – it was an additional $25 for us to gather shells from our favorite Sand Beach in Florida for HER FLOWER GIRL DRESSES.  Picked from the shell beaches of the Gulf Shore.   SKIRT AND SILK SASH IN NEW IVORY WITH REAL FLORIDA SHELLS AND STARFISHES! WE TRIMMED IT WITH TURQUOISE TULLE FOR THE SASH AND THE SHELL PACKET.  The front of the dress was trimmed with a sand dollar and two more starfishes…. and of course silk petals.  My kids love it when we go to their favorite shell beach just south west of Naples FL and load up for the season.  With shells however, you have to air them out and dry them in the sun to reduce the smell.

Royal Wedding Dress of Kate Middleton to go on display this summer

LONDON — The Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress, designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, will go on display at Buckingham Palace this summer during the annual Summer Opening (23 July – 3 October 2011).  The Duchess chose British brand Alexander McQueen for the beauty of its craftsmanship and its respect for traditional workmanship and the technical construction of clothing.  Her Royal Highness worked closely with Sarah Burton in formulating the design of her dress.

Buckingham Palace will also feature the exhibition “Royal Fabergé,” which explores the British royal family’s extensive collection of Fabergé pieces amassed over six generations.
